Location. The Park Place Hotel is located in Traverse City, Mich., less than two blocks from shops and cafes on Front Street. West Bay Beach is two blocks from the hotel. The Great Lakes Children’s Museum is one half mile away. The city is known for producing cherries and wine grapes. Bowers Harbor Vineyards and the winery, Chateau Grand Traverse, are within 10 miles.
